I am extremely proud to announce that my painting, La Cocina Ventana (The Kitchen Window) has been selected as a contender for Best Still Life in Artists & Illustrators Magazine 2012.
My piece has been chosen out of 4,000 entries (Over several categories) and has now made the top 5 for best Still Life piece of the year.
It then goes into a vote for best Artist/Piece of the year across the full line of categories and i will find out any further news on the 9th November.. But TOP 5! I’m really proud.
Thank you to all those who voted for me.. I’ve never entered anything into competition before and it’s great result.

Pet portraits are always popular at this time of the year and here I add a new piece to my animal collection. Meggie was a beautiful dog and a real character. I hope I have done her justice.

WILLIAM TAI has been a great commission.
It’s a new subject to me with the art being a large piece taking bout a week to draw and paint. I haven’t painted too many boats before but I found it both daunting and exciting. The finished painting was very well received and now hangs on the proud owners wall, I also have a very worthy addition to my portfolio.
