Matt Jeanes paints DIANA: Princess of Wales

27 April 2015

Portrait artist Matthew Jeanes has been asked to paint Diana: Princess of Wales. The new painting has caused something of a sensation on line. Matt says “After the amazing comments about my recent self portrait I decided to paint another piece in the same style. This is a piece I have been planning for some time and I think it works in the same casual way my piece did. This shows a beautiful, caring Diana away from all the glitz and glamour, caring for people with little regard for the camera. I hope that her kindness comes across in my painting”.

MATT by MATT – SELF PORTRAIT 2015

7 April 2015

Here we are..approximately 10 years after my very first self portrait, a lot has happened to me since then. I was lead artist and brand champion for Hallmark (Forever Friends) worked as a Disney artist at Portico developed, designed and was Art director at a company called ‘F.A.B’, headhunted as creative director of Paper House GBC then finally made redundant after ‘the crash’ in 2008 and through that terrible time I re-invented myself as the artist I am today. My style has changed, my outlook has changed, my ‘trust’ has changed, my life has changed but.. my passion for my art remains the same.. thank you for all of your support through the years.

Onwards! lets see what I look like in another 10 years.
