Congratulations to KATE BUSH for breaking three chart records with RUNNING UP THAT HILL hitting number 1 in the charts after 40 years. The longest gap between no 1’s, longest gap between chart singles and oldest female artist to hit No 1 in the U.K. I’ve always loved her, hers was the first single and album I bought with my own money. Listening to Country Superstar Orville Peck’s new album BRONCO I was so inspired to paint him,. His album is the best I’ve heard and reads like a greatest hits with amazing song after song. So, here is my homage to him.. “Orville, has entered the building”
It’s quite big for a watercolour and was certainly a challenge, that said I wanted to keep the painting light,. So I’m pleased with his head and hat in particular. Trying to paint SATIN was also a challenge.. hope you approve.#orvillepeck#Orville#Bronco
