A new commission- BEST FRIENDS by MATTHEW HAYDN JEANES, 2023. This was really nice as I was able to go to the clients house and photograph the dogs myself. It’s always nice to be in control of the image so the painting remains totally the artist’s viewpoint, I had to combine two images to get the best of both dogs but as they were taken at the same time the light and proportions were still spot on.The painting is quite a big piece, about A2 so it looks more detailed at this size, hope you like it!#watercolor#art#pet#portrait#petportraitartist#petportraiture
